ABOUT MR. DRAPER
Brad Draper has been a Building Envelope Consultant since 1988, serving a wide range of clients across the southern United States. His extensive experience includes work with K-12 educational facilities, institutions of higher education, industrial facilities, and municipalities. Throughout his career, Mr. Draper has demonstrated a deep commitment to providing reliable and effective building envelope solutions for both public and private sector clients.

Brad is highly skilled and knowledgeable in all aspects of commercial low slope roofing, steep slope roofing, waterproofing, and building envelope systems. He has developed and refined his abilities in evaluating roofing and waterproofing systems, and he is particularly adept at collaborating with architectural firms. Brad provides comprehensive plans, detailed drawings, and precise specifications for building envelope projects, ensuring that every aspect meets the highest standards of performance and durability.

He has served as a Building Envelope Consultant for several major manufacturers, distributors, and contracting firms throughout the southern United States. He has played a pivotal role in the design and evaluation of building envelope systems, consistently delivering high-quality services to his clients.

Brad’s responsibilities include conducting comprehensive building envelope surveys and analysis to identify and address client needs. As part of the analysis process, he prepares thorough written reports and documentation, provides recommendations for suitable roofing systems, develops project specifications, and supplies daily progress reports throughout the construction phase. Additionally, he assists with project close-out documents and final reports to ensure complete client satisfaction.

He also leads pre-bid and pre-proposal meetings to ensure that contractors fully understand the scope of work before the bidding process begins. He supports clients during bid openings, analyzes bids, and provides recommendations regarding qualified contractors.

In addition to his current role, Mr. Draper works closely with design professionals by reviewing building envelope components, including exterior elevations, wall sections, roof plans, and complex building transitions. His expertise helps ensure that facilities are constructed to be watertight and sustainable, contributing to the overall success and longevity of the projects he supports.
